Reading for pleasure

Status:Active, open to new members
Coordinator:
When: on Thursday afternoons
3rd
Venue: The Bear Hotel

We have two groups for members who love reading.

The Reading 4 Pleasure group is long established and meets in the afternoon on the third Thursday of the month.

Due to popular demand, we have launched a new Book Group which meets on the first Tuesday of the month.

The focus of both groups is simply to share recommendations for books to read and discuss as an enjoyable pastime. Members take turns to nominate books three to six months in advance so that there is plenty of time to acquire a copy ahead of the discussion.

Here is a list of some of the books we have enjoyed.
