Subscriptions
The membership year runs from 1st October until 30 September and the subscription for the full year is £18 and £9 for the half year if joining on or after 1 April.
You can access and submit the membership form here; but if you would prefer to submit the form by post, you can download a Word form here or a PDF form here. There are usually membership forms available at our monthly coffee mornings.
If you would like a hard copy of the National "Third Age Matters" magazine, please mark the application/renewal form and add £3 to the fee to be paid.
If you are already the member of another U3A the full year fee for Associate Membership is £14 and for the half year is £9.

Magazine and Newsletters
Members of the u3a can receive a hard copy of the National u3a Magazine "Third Age Matters" at a cost of £3 per year (this fee is payable when you join or renew your membership - see the forms above).
There is also a National online news page and an 'online' Friends newsletter which can be obtained by signing up to receive via the National u3a website here.
Other Opportunities
All u3a members can access a wide range of free online talks, workshops, and courses arranged through the National u3a organisation via this link (https://www.u3a.org.uk/events/educational-events).
As a member of Hungerford u3a you are also able to join in the various activities of the Thames Valley Regional Network u3a (http://u3atvnetwork.org.uk/).

In running the Hungerford and District u3a the Committee aims to comply with all the relevant requirements of the u3a organisation nationally (https://www.u3a.org.uk/members-area/support/advice-and-guidance) including:
Data Protection. Please tell the Membership Secretary and your Group Leader(s) if you have any particular concerns (e.g. wishing not to be included in any photographs).
Health and Safety. Please tell the Membership Secretary and your Group Leader(s) if you have any special requirements that we need to be aware of. Please also provide the Membership Secretary and your Group Leader(s) with In Case of Emergency contact details.
